A number which is in the form of a + bi, is commonly called as Complex Number. In expression a + bi, ‘a’ and ‘b’ are Real Numbers and ‘I’ is an imaginary. As this expression is formed from real part and imaginary part so it is defined as complex number. If we put real part of the complex number equal to zero then it is purely imaginary.
